A Fire permit must be submitted online using ePermitsMV. Fire One-Stop Review Appointments are available depending on the proposed scope of work.
If there is an associated Building permit for your project, the building permit must be approved and ready for permit issuance prior to submitting any Fire permit application.
One-Stop Fire Review
Available Appointments: 1-hour virtual appointment on Tuesday or Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Projects that qualify for a one-stop appointment:
- Fire sprinkler modifications with twenty (20) heads or less, located within a building that is currently or was previously occupied
- Fire alarm modifications to five (5) devices are fewer.
- All restaurant hood and duct extinguishing systems.
- Underground fire service systems.
- As-built plans requested to be submitted by the Fire Protection Engineer.

Once you have submitted the plans, you can schedule an appointment online. NOTE: If you schedule an appointment without uploading plans in ePermitsMV, your appointment will be cancelled.
