Apply for a Public Works Permit

Public Works permit fees and Development fees are available online.

All required application forms are available on the Public Works Forms page.

Excavation or Encroachment Permits

• For any excavation or encroachment permit, submit your application in ePermitsMV under "Public Works Permits." 

Improvement Plans and Map Reviews

• In combination with a Building permit: If you are submitting an Improvement Plan and/or Final/Parcel Map as part of your building project, submit your application in ePermitsMV with your building permit under "Building Permit".
• Separate Improvement Plan/Map: If you are submitting an Improvement Plan or Final/Parcel Map, submit your application in ePermitsMV under "Public Works Permits." 

Review Timelines

• Review of excavation or encroachment permit submittals are approximately 3 weeks, and are dependent on scale and scope of project and overall workload.
